here i must disagree with you poeple visit our island for its natural and archetectual beauty read any travel article or brochure about harbour island if you are unsure on this truth!

On an island this would be inevitable and necessary for survival." certain types of development are more harmful than others as certain types of tourism are more harmful than others ,in my geography class we have just studied tourism and looked at its pros and cons of the fish cought in the bahamas, how much do you think goes to the people of the bahamas and how much goes to tourists at gourmet resaurants, and of the money made here how much do you think goes to the people and how much do you think goes to big multinational companies like sun international.

You say no one complained about the blue marlin tournaments well i see what you mean but the shark has just brought the issue to a head.so please understand im not picking at one issue,nor am i being morrally superior.conservation is a serious issue not an easy mindless critsism
