Media in The Bahamas
(Print/Television/Cable/Radio)
There are three daily newspapers: The Nassau Guardian and The Tribune (morning newspapers) and The Bahama Journal (evenings). There is a weekly tabloid - The Punch. All devote considerable space to advertising. No trade journals are published, but weekly tourist booklets are distributed free to visitors. These booklets not only contain information of general interest to tourists but carry advertisements from most of the leading retail establishments.
