On March the 6th there was a fire at Valentines Yacht Club. This fire destroyed our dive shop completely.
Rose and I lost everything except the boats and a few scuba tanks. Everything we worked for,for 9 years was gone..
We had no choice but to persue legal compensation for the destruction of our business,our lives. The owners of the hotel feel that a business relationship can no longer exist between us because of this legal action.
There has been a total breakdown of any reasonable communication between us and the owners of the hotel.We are being forced to leave.. Floyd did not help much either..
Can anyone who was at the fire that night send us a statement of what you saw or did. We especially need statements from anyone that was on a yacht docked at the marina that night.
We are so sorry to leave,but thay have left us no options.
We want to thank everyone that has known us and we hope we have impacted your lives and the island in a possitive manor.
