Dr. Doswell Coakley has formed a Hurricane Relief Committee here in New York and as a group the comittee decided to host a fundraising event which will be held on Friday evening October 29th.
There will be the Consul General's Reception from 7-8pm and will be a bit of a star studded event with some United Nations representatives and celebrities in attendence. There will be chamgagne and wonderful hor'dourves and even some conch fritters (flown in from Nassau). The cost for the Consul General's Reception is $100pp. Most of the cost going to the Hurricane Relief Fund.
The main event for the evening the Reception and Dance, will be from 8pm to midnight, with Entertainment, Tasty hor'dourves, valuable prizes being raffled off and some surprises. The cost for the Reception and Dance is $60pp.
The cost for both receptions is $120pp and we are trying to sell tickets to corporate sponsors as well as Bahamians and Friends of the Bahamas.
Please support this worthwile event. We want to raise several thousand dollars to aid in the repair to our wonderful islands.
