HURRICANE RELIEF FUND RAISER SET FOR 10/29

: If you are a regualr to the Bahamas and live in the New York/New Jersey/Connecticut area please plan on attending the HURRICANE RELIEF FUNDRAISER this Friday, October 29th at the Marriott Downtown Hotel, 3 World Trade Center. : The event is being hosted by Dr. Doswell Coakley, Consul General of the Consulate here in New York. There will be the Consul General's Reception from 7-8pm followed by the main reception and Dance from 8pm to midnight. : We are excited to have two bands from Nassau for the "party", and of course what even is complete without conch fritters (which were shipped up from Nassau) : The New York Festival Chorus will also lend a song or two (in anticipation of our 5th concert tour to the Bahamas starting March 17, 2000, but that's the start of another posting) : We have an excellent price from the Marriott so that most of the money raised will go directly to the Hurricane Relief Committee to be sent where needed. : The cost of the fundraiser is $60 for the Main Reception and Dance and $100 for the Consul General's Reception and $120 for both events. : Tickets are selling very well for the program and we expect to have a full house. We will have additional tickts available at the door. : If you are not able to attend the event, donations are being gratefully accepted.
