Not tto take anyting away from Janet Bostwich, But Doris Johnson was the first female senator of the Bahamas. back in the 1970s. Without her there would have not been a bloodless revolution of -power from the uBP to PLP party. Doris Johnson was the first woman to serve in pariliament in Nassau.
