We too have brought frozen food to Cat Island and of course you should have the requisite customs form from the US declaring the contents and the value. There is quite an extensive list of what you can and cannot bring in with regards to fresh foods, so you should check with Bahamas Customs. The other things that you should consider bringing are dry goods and your favorite wine - which could be quite elusive at their stores.
