Bringing Food to Bahamas?

Greetings!!

My family and I are heading to Cat Island (I know it's not Eleuthera),
but it's close anyway.

I was wondering if anyone could let me know the rules for bringing fresh/frozen
food into the Bahamas. We will be there for Thanksgiving and I guess old habits
die hard, we would like to bring a Turkey (no comments please) along
with us.

Can anyone help??
