A great friend has passed and now death creeps closer and closer to the door life goes on in aninimity the stealth of deaths spcetor is at our door. Will we answer the call? Life is demanding and in this day I met her demands. Today I relaxed even a little bit with the boys of life and spoke of things
we had in common. To communicate and joke with the boys of yester year is
an honor too rich for me. To jell in dialouge with these older guys in their
later years looking back on life is an honor. These guys enjoy life.
This is the fun and fanciful feelings that eminate under sanhedrin.
Today was a wonderful place to be, beside the rich natural caribbean sea
God came home today and we noticed him as the giver of great life and comfort
the wonderment which we all search for. Some days we get it.
Hooray, peace, respect for life.
That great friend of ours, Macmillan Hughes left July 25th on a journey
he would not return from. He spent the last month of his life in Florence
Italy a place which he really loves and finds as a portion of him home,
the world which he inhabits. Ironically he spent his last month celebrating
and having fun, enjoying his style of life with his global friends in a creative
mood and getting ready for a winter season filled heavily with the creative
work of art which is the thing he enjoyed most.
The eccentricazies which accompanied Lord MacMillan Hughes were his refuge,
a place in which he used to hide out here in the Bahamas. The man was a
refreshing friend and person who studied his world and understood much of the
imaginary or spiritual world which many set out to learn about and explore.
It goes without saying that he will be sadly missed by his friends around the
world especially those local fans of his here in the small hidden village of
Tarpum Bay where he lived a long, rich cultural and peaceful life. The comic
relief of the art master will be sadly missed. He was a unique person filled with
a love for life and in posession of certain knowledge that drove him on to
create his world around him from year to year.
Lord MacMillan Hughes posessed the personality and grace of a wonderful mentor
one which will be missed and may not return again. His many works of art will
remain to remind us of the passionate man who filled our community with a little
something beautiful but unsual, eccentric, witty, comedic and filled with flavor
for our wonderful journey through life.
One never knows how life will remember them. I am hoping that life will
remember Lord Macmillan Hughes as a brave, courageous person willing to
search for the answer to his dreams. Lord MacMillan filled many lives with happiness
and social charm. Sadly remembered, gone before his time, the old master
of the creative process and searcher for the fulfilment of life, Lord Mac Millan Hughes.
